Development Wrapped - Steam Release Live!
Today, version 1.0.0 of FREM Sprite32! is complete and released here on Itch as macOS and Windows builds. Additionally, the Steam store page is now live, and mac/win versions are available for purchase there.
So, what's next for FREM?
For now I'll focus on patching any bugs that surface, as well as collecting feedback from the players. If you have any comments, concerns, bugs, or cool FREMScript programs to share, please leave a comment here on Itch.io, or over at the Steam community page: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2065990
I have a number of ideas for additional content for the Sprite32! going into the future. Stay tuned for more!
Thanks for following the development of FREM Sprite32! over the past year, now go program something!

Way to go! Any plans for assembly programming in future releases?
I definitely want to incorporate the concepts from other projects based on SAP architecture and 8080 Assembly into future development, e.g. https://github.com/johnsquibb/Go-SAP and https://negative11.itch.io/sap-1-emulator. I don't have any roadmap of what that looks like just yet, but it's definitely on the want-to-do list.
Very cool! It would be incredible to not only program in Assembly but to have visual indicators of memory and registers like in SAP-1 : )
