The Story

Incident at Orbital Station IV is a short, text-based interactive fiction adventure. You explore an abandoned space station through the lens of a repair drone, the sole functional unit left online. Navigate the desolate corridors, uncover hidden items, and solve puzzles. Every decision you make matters—will you accomplish your mission, or will your choices lead to the drone's destruction?

About the Gameplay

The gameplay is straightforward: read the details printed to the screen, and make decisions using the keyboard keys corresponding to choices in the list of Actions.

You can modify a few things in the Game Options (F2): choose from several color themes, or increase/decrease text display speed. There are three save slots with hotkeys for Quick Save (F5) and Quick Load (F9).

About the Development

This project began as a prototype to experiment with interactive fiction and text adventure mechanics. It’s compact, atmospheric, and offers a challenging experience. Let me know what you think!
